    During the ‘Happiness’ sermon Chris asks where this verse comes from, “God will enable us to be happy when we decide to be happy.”

    I believe it is found in 3 Corinthians 4:18 “God helps those who help themselves”

    By the way, the “Cheer up, son. I forgive your sins” verse is from the Message paraphrase.
