    Pierced For Our Transgressions
The belief that Jesus died for us, suffering the wrath of his own Father in our place, has been the wellspring of hope for countless Christians through the ages. However, with an increasing number of theologians, church leaders, and even popular Christian books and magazines questioning this doctrine, which naysayers have described as a form of “cosmic child abuse,” a fresh articulation and affirmation of penal substitution is needed. And Jeffery, Ovey, and Sach have responded here with clear exposition and analysis. This Book is a MUST READ. The cost is only $25.00 + $4.00 S/H

Do people actually sit thru this stuff? Do they continue to attend this circus? Do you ever hear from those that "worship" there?

My word, that was hideous. And hideously boring. I thought that a hip, relevant church was supposed to be exciting. I've heard more scintillating high school valedictories.

The ridiculous, childish and dangerous emergent heresies and sermon follies bring to my mind the scripture:

"Be ye angry, and sin not:" - Ephesians 4:26

"Batman makes the choice, the same choice that Jesus made."

That statement is so offensive and ignorant I can't even put it into words.

I cannot remember the last time that I heard anything so pitiful. Pray for this man because he is in great danger of hell.

On the circle presentation, it has the order all wrong, among other things. The order they state is 1) damaging relation with the planet 2) damaging relationship with each other and 3) damaging the relationship with God. This order is revised. It places the earth as the center and not God.
