In regards to "Christian Rap", the words are all wrong. To live like a Christian, we need to be on our knees confessing our sins as well as opening our months and receiving bread and wine (body and blood) for the forgiveness of our sins. That doesn't make for very good rap and most "evangelical Christians" won't not recognize these actions that is a key apart of the Christian life.

Thanks for keeping the focus on false teachers like Currie. I'm the guy whose blog he read in his sermon, but the truth is that he took it out of context. You can read about it here - http://4simpsons.wordpress.com/2008/11/05/another-fan/ . Just compare his audio to what I really wrote.

Chuck did another even more despicable thing. He deleted at least one of my comments on his blog. That is no problem, since it is his blog. I’ve deleted many comments here (though none of his) for what I consider to be good reasons. If he considered them off topic, or just didn’t like them, I wouldn’t even mention anything.

But when I pointed out the deletions to him he said it was because they were “racist, sexist, homophobic” and “more.” That is a another lie. The total number of examples he offered was zero. I pressed him to back up his accusations, and he has ignored me. What a liar.

Re. "God is still speaking" - great comeback re. noting that they didn't believe God's original words, so why do they believe anything new?

Did you notice all the exegesis in addition to his defensive and out of context quotes? Me neither.

Chuck disagrees with Jesus on many, many things -
It was amusing to hear Chuck talk about opposing the conventional wisdom of the day, when he agrees with so much non-Biblical CW: gay marriage, abortion rights, etc. Seems kinda worldly to me.

For you Chuck Currie fans, I wanted to point out that I have requested multiple times for him to back up his accusations that I left comments that were “racist, sexist, homophobic” and included “offensive language and more.” All he said on his blog was, "Neil, Thanks for all your e-mails on this. I'm sorry that I don't have the time to write back each day in person but thanks for your feedback."

False teacher. False accusations. Shocking.
