Great show! Especially the reminder of from what, or to be more exact, from Whom, Christ saved us.

The last segment blew my mind. It was like an exercise in how much heresy can one man roll up into one "preaching".

It might be an idea to file for later, to maybe, if possible, research why people fall for this brazen type of heresy. This was more than a difference of eschatological interpretation or disagreement with a non-cardinal doctrine.

I heard WOF in there, advocating of mysticism and occult practices, me-ism, little god schtick, no scripture in context, and all delivered by an apparent "prophet" to whom God gives direct revelation more casually and more often than most folks greet their friends and family.

I'm amazed any Christian, of whatever stripe, could sit through that, let alone applaud it. I know God calls some out from such nonsense, but it's heartbreaking to see so many get led straight to the Great White Throne by a con-man claiming he hears directly from God. Oh yeah, and "co-creates" with Him as well.

BTW, even from a logical stand point, his proclamation of men being "divine" since God created Him but the devil not being so... ummm, didn't God also create the devil? Does that make Satan divine, too? Does that make puppies and salamanders divine? Or if he was referencing when God breathed spirit into the man, are not devils spirits also? Point being, spirit does not equal divine. Only deity equals divine.

I'm still trying to digest the convoluted "message" that man gave and as an exercise in futily, seeing how one could possibly come up with these notions if they've ever read the Bible.

    Hey Brother Chris,

Great show! Is there any chance you could have an index for the shows with segments discussing the Augsburg Confession. I'm Reformed Baptist myself, but I have so far agreed with quite a lot of the material from the confession.

    In Christ,

    Doug
